Thiamine (vitamin B1) industrial product purity ≥ 99%, white crystalline powder, with a faint characteristic odor. Melting point 248℃ (decomp), boiling point decomposes. Vapor pressure negligible (25℃), relative density 1.49 (20℃). Solubility in water: highly soluble, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether and benzene. Stable, incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, alkalis and heavy metal salts.
